While a mobile version of Legends of Runeterra has been planned since the game's launch, there has been little information about its release so far. With the opening of the first mobile beta in Singapore, on both Android and iOS, we can expect a fairly quick international access! Highly anticipated, the phone version will compete with Hearthstone, which is one of the only big collectible card games available on this market.
As of March 11, Singaporean gamers will have access to the beta version of Legends of Runeterra, both on PC and mobile phones! Until then, the region of South East Asia, including Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau, had not had access to the game due to the lack of Riot partners in the region.
For many gamers, this first mobile launch announcement is a relief and bodes well for a relatively quick, international release. No information about it has been announced yet, and we will surely know more in the following weeks.
It should not be forgotten that initially, the Riot Games teams were talking about a release of the mobile version at the same time as the final version of the game. So are we close to a beta release? We can only hope so!
In January 2020, the South East Asia teams for Legends of Runeterra released a FAQ on their Facebook account stating that Riot's aim was to launch the SEA (South East Asia) servers in close proximity to the full and global PC and mobile release.
