WoW Classic: November 23 Hotfix (Engineering, Rogue, Combat Log)

The November 23 Hotfix fixes bugs in WoW Classic affecting players swapping their engineering specialisation, Rogue's Vanish, and the Combat Log (which impacts the "Spy" addon)

WoW Classic: November 23 Hotfix (Engineering, Rogue, Combat Log)

On November 23 2019, Blizzard deployed a hotfix in WoW Classic designed to improve the quality of the game by correcting bugs and any other pressing issues.

Professions

Engineering

  • The appropriate "Membership Card Renewal" quests will now be available to players who swap their Engineering specialization.

Classes

Rogue

  • Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented enemies from dropping threat on Rogues after they used Vanish.

User Interface

The in-game combat log radius has been fixed, and now only displays information for units that are within 50 yards of the player.

Developers’ note: This change better reflects the original behavior of WoW 1.12, and should eliminate the ability for addons to extend players’ senses and detect enemy actions at a greater distance than intended. This fix does not affect text logs that the game outputs for raid parses.

WoW Classic: November 14 Hotfix (Windsor's Frenzy)

The November 14 hotfix corrects the way the Windsor's Frenzy buff functions, making it operate in as it did in Patch 1.12.
